11/2 - Fresh month, Fresh start, FRESH CAR!!

Heck yes we did. We drove my beat up little Jetta into the Hyundai dealership, we demanded a good trade, we demanded a low monthly payment, we demanded the big bad fail proof warranty, we haggled and haggled and haggled and haggled, and we left with a new (to us) 2008 Hyundai Tucson. Now, I just need to get better at pronouncing the name. This picture was snapped this morning by my iPhone, but don't worry -- the fabulous and talented Nancy Ray captured its true beauty at her portrait party on Saturday -- SO MUCH FUN! Rocky was as mischievous as ever, and Josh still hates having his picture taken, but they both managed to suck it up to make me happy. I've started working my second (weekend) job at Mountain Java in Candler, and while I'm loving staying busy and making money, I've been neglecting my already neglected goals for blogging, writing, and photographing. I'm going to have to find a balance somewhere. Part of the challenge is going to be forcing myself to accept the fact that I simply cannot do everything all at once. There's no way. But I can work steadily to better fulfill my goals, and that's what I'm going to focus on. Starting tonight with a new, revised, achievable goal list. Until then, enjoy this beautiful day!
