Just wanted to stop and write a quick note on how much I am LOVING the February posters for the Asheville Grown campaign. It's basically a grassroots organization of a bunch of local (mostly downtown) Asheville businesses. Their basic goal is to get more money pumping into the locally-owned community of restaraunts, bookstores, shops, and services. It's always inspiring to see a community take matters into its own hands, and Asheville Grown is doing an especially good job of combining real-life marketing (t-shirts, posters in shops) with social media (facebook, twitter, and blog) to get more customers into the small businesses of Asheville.
